I recently found this post on plasticandplush.com where my MACRODONS on Etsy get a nice plug (click above image to zoom in). Thanks so much for the nice mention guys!
Check out "Plastic and Plush" for designer toy news and reviews (among many other things on their great web site!).
Also, just a few MACRODONS remain available on Etsy, ← click to get some before they are all gone!
Emily's dinosaur drawing is morphing into a MACRODON, with the head transposed from the dinosaur neck area to a small nub on the left side of the figure, and the dinosaur tail and neck now tunred into long rubbery arms for the MACRODON. I like the look of this drawing in progress, but I'll still work on it a bit more...
Emily's drawing seemed like a rendition of something akin to my MACRODONS, so, taking the shape of her dinosaur, here I am sketching out a MACRODON... still in progress... but, I liked what was going on, so here it is above! +some wierdness... damaged image file...?
these are the art objects raffled to benefit CADD at the ARTLAB'LAUNCH' exhibition. left to right: a print from The Public Trust, MACRODON 6 series 1 (customized, signed and scribbles on box), Rusty Scruby playing card assemblage, and a Susan Barnett drawing.
a better view of Rusty Scruby's piece.
& a pic of the store display at ARTLAB, with my MACRODONS toys and framed painting, among ARTLIES magazies, and Allison V. Smith mini photo viewfinders.
posts have been slow-coming this past week as I have simply felt out of sorts, these are all pretty gross, and you probably don't want to see them, but here is excuse #3 anyways.

After a week of thorough research on the beach in Destin, Florida, the sketch-blog is now updated, with the following new posts (#314 - #323) depicting brand newMACRODON research illustrations. Also, following are some very rareANDamazingly clear photos of a MACRODONin the ocean (!?)
The first image is a simple photo of the beach:
Then something cathes my eye, and I get a quick shot:
After steading my hand I get this killer photo:
An attempt to zoom in for more detail yields a blury shot:
and then... nothing...
Please report any info and/or images of MACRODON sightings to the MACRODON RESEARCH BLOG, and in the meantime, see other MACRODON SIGHTINGS:
I finished this piece once I returned home, I am quite pleased with this final painted version. The initial pencil drawing is still interesting so I posted it as well:
these sort of wierd gnarly appendages seem to be a reoccuring theme in these past few posts... this is a painting in progress on a 15 x 15 inch piece of rag paper, the wobbly, curly paper can be seen photographed on the hard wood floors of my living room...
painting in progress (another 12 x 12 inch wood panel) reminiscent of the explosions and smoke monsters previously seen here, another before and after, still in progress...
